Using AI tool to generate 3D model and rig with iClone / Character Creator / AccuRIG
1. Choose an AI 3D Generation Tool
Several AI tools can create 3D models. Some popular ones are:
- Tripo AI (text-to-3D generation, image-to-3D generation)
- Meshy.ai (text-to-3D generation)
2. Export the 3D Model
Once generated:
- Export in FBX, OBJ formats for importing into Character Creator (CC4)
- There is a free application – AccuRIG on Actorcore, which can rig body skeleton for custom character. Here are the online manaul and video tutoirals.
In this case below, we use Character Creator 4 for instance.
3. Rig with Character Creator
Import the FBX/OBJ file into Character Creator:
- Open Character Creator 4.

Import into iClone 8:
- If it’s already a CC character (.ccAvatar), you can send to iClone directly by clicking the button ‘Send to iClone’ on the top toolbar.
- iClone will be launched after a few second.
- Now you can go ahead for the character animation. ๐
