  1. Less Background Applications or Web Browser
Some background programs can negatively impact your computer’s performance.

3. Next, perform a disk scan and system file check

If you’ve encountered many Windows error reports in the system files, going through these two steps might rectify system errors.

If the above steps don’t resolve the issue, you may need to reinstall Windows to address problems that can’t be fixed using repair tools.

For Windows 10 & Windows 11: Before attempting the following steps, close any non-essential programs and restart your computer.

Identify Problematic Startup Items:

  • Press Ctrl+Shift+Esc to open Task Manager.
  • Click on “More details.”
  • Select the “Startup” tab.
  • Right-click on each item and choose “Disable.”
  • Restart your computer.
  • If the problem is resolved, enable one startup item at a time, restarting your computer after each enablement to pinpoint the problematic item.

Note: To re-enable startup items, refer to steps 1-4 and choose “Enable.”

However, the system file check step may fix basic errors but cannot address deeper issues. If you are using a Windows 7 system and have been using it for a long time, it is recommended to perform a complete reinstallation. The system logs also contain error reports for some applications running into issues, including translation device loss due to memory shortage, temperature, or conflicts between system and software.

Lastly, regarding temperature recommendations, when the weather gets hot, internal cooling can become less effective. It is advisable to clean the components of your computer to ensure efficient cooling.
