Creating the Skeleton with the Bone Editor
Begin by using the Bone Editor to set up the skeleton for the character. By adding and editing the bone structure, you can create an appropriate skeletal system for the actor. This step lays the groundwork for binding and weight adjustments, ensuring that each bone’s position and structure match the needs of the character.

Addressing Weight Issues: The Layer Separation Method
After binding the bones, you may notice uneven weight distribution in certain parts of the character, resulting in abnormal deformations when moving.
For example, ears or arms may twist or appear unnatural when animated.

In such cases, the layer separation method can be used to resolve these issues.
Exporting and Re-adding SVG Components
For instance, export the head layer as a separate SVG file.

Then, select the corresponding bone for the head in the Bone Editor, and choose “Add Element” to re-import the exported head SVG.

Repeat this method for other parts like the arms and legs, treating each section as an independent element, allowing more flexibility in weight adjustments.

After splitting and re-importing elements, you can see each component as a separate part in the Sprite Editor.
The previous twisting effect will no longer occur, resulting in smoother, more natural character movements.
